Administrative and Client Support
Kara provides administrative and client support to our team on an as needed basis. As a mother of five beautiful children, Kara is comfortable wearing many hats and juggling responsibilities. She has an Associates degree in Accounting and has volunteered in the community for many years. Kara has a bubbly personality and a big smile, and we very much appreciate Kara’s partnership with VanWeelden Financial Group. She, and her husband, Daniel, live in Springdale where Daniel owns/operates Red Lion Remodeling, a construction company responsible for rehabbing our “home” office in Olde West Chester.
Pam is a Mom to five amazing daughters, three of which are adopted from China. A 1987 graduate of Hanover College, she graduated from University of Cincinnati College of Law in May 1991 in the top 10% of the class. She began her career with a large, downtown law firm (Thompson Hine) then moved to a small firm in Hyde Park (Finney, Stagnaro, et. al.), and now practices in Blue Ash, Ohio. With over 20 years experience in the area of Wills, Trusts, Probate, Pam loves her work because she gets to work with great people, creating a plan tailored to their specific needs.
Retirement Income and Annuity Specialist
Walker resides in the Lake Norman Area of North Carolina with his wife, Candace, and their three beautiful children. They are active members of Davidson United Methodist Church. Walker is also affiliated with F3 Nation and the F3 Foundation whose mission is to plant, grow, and serve small workout groups for the invigoration of male community leadership. Walker is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Computer Information Systems. He is Senior Vice President of the Annuity Division at Financial Independence Group, specializing in complicated case design and product selection as well as overall business planning and augmentation.
Advanced Case Design and Insurance Specialist
Stoyan Petev, CFA, CFP, CLU, ChFC, has a background in International Economic Relations from the University of National and World Economy, as well as having earned a BSBA in Finance and Economics from Truman State University in 1994 and an MBA from Washington University in 2000. He a frequent speaker at industry events and travels around the country to educate both consumers and financial professionals on financial strategies and products. At First Heartland Companies, he is responsible for the evaluation of insurance and investment products, the management of a team of 3 product specialists, and the design of advanced personal, estate, and business planning strategies involving insurance and investments. Stoyan is married, with 2 kids, and lives in Ballwin, MO.
